We had a long journey but it was pleasant and no-one got left behind. Upon arrival, we had a presentation by one of the instructors about the centre rules, activities and our targets.
The rooms are spacious and after we added our personal touch - homely. We had our lunch and settled in.
Our first activity was the low ropes course - that was entertaining and required good team work to carry water buckets around the course without spilling any. Next we completed a group challenge to get our group over a wall which needed team work and communication.
We went on a walk on the moors and learnt about the history and landscape of Exmoor.
Dinner was yummy. The evening activities were a series of fun 20 minute team tasks that made us use our brains as well as teamwork.
Overall, in just one day we have already learnt how to knit closer together to get the job done.
