We are writing to you to introduce ourselves as this year's school officers and inform you of our latest initiative. The school officers are a group of seven elected Year 13 students who work to improve the school for the students. Charity work is one of our main focuses for the year and so we are arranging a collection for Wallingford's Food Bank - we would thoroughly appreciate any donations you would be willing to give as some of these contributions could be going to families of students in the school. However, if you believe this will be a huge struggle, please do not feel in any way obliged - we are asking for donations you feel you can and are willing to give.

However, this is an opportunity to support those within our community who are struggling, and the more we can give, the more we can help. The food bank cannot accept any homemade or perishable goods, so please do not give those for your child to bring in. Tins of baked beans, dried pasta and rice are the kind of donations accepted.
