Our Year 7s of Bigg House were delighted to welcome visitors yesterday morning from RAF Benson as part of Road Safety Week. They arrived in a 6 tonne MAN SV, an off-road HGV with a carrying capacity of 6 tonne and a BFA (Battle Field Ambulance), a converted Land Rover with ambulance body.

The Bigg House students were invited as a reward for being the House in Year 7 with the best attendance.  They were given a briefing about road safety and blind spots, especially those in larger vehicles, and then a practical exercise to demonstrate where some of the many blind spots are in both visiting vehicles.
