Some positive news, to distract in these times of uncertainty ….. Oxford Biomedica  are recruiting six Higher Apprenticeship Technician Scientists in Cell and Gene Therapy. The advert is now live on the government’s apprenticeship website.

This is a great opportunity for year 13 A level students who would like to start a career in science, but would prefer not to study for a degree at university full time, but rather get hands on experience in the workplace whist studying part-time through the apprenticeship.

The closing date for applications is 29 May 2020, with interviews in July, and a start date in September for successful applicants. The format of these interviews will align with the social distancing measures in place at that time.
