Diamond Light Source (who are the UK's National Synchrotron Science Facility) are offering 18 Work Exp placements on 29th June to 3rd July.  They are available to GCSE students and A level students.  Students would work on one particular project and these are:

1. Mechanical Engineering

2. Chemistry/Biochemistry

3. Motion and Control Systems

4. (Particle) Accelerator Magnets

5. Radio Frequency Systems/Engineering

6. I.T. Systems

7. Communicators

8. Procurement

9. High Level Control Systems

This would be a fantastic opportunity and would look great on any future UCAS applications.  There are further details and online application form on their website.  The closing date is 25th March 2015.
