After a long coach journey, we finally arrived at Yenworthy Lodge. Once we had found our rooms and finished unpacking, we all headed out to the ropes course! We were put into small teams and given a task to complete the course without touching the ground or spilling any water from a bucket.
After dinner, we headed out onto the moors for a peaceful walk. It was pretty cold and very windy, especially when we reached the top! Miss told us a couple of stories. One was about a stone that has been specifically placed in the ground, thousands of years ago and it still remains there now! We then had a veil of silence and soon after travelled back down to the lodge to explore some more! Before going to bed we had a hot chocolate and a biscuit to end our first day!!
