We are aware of stories about groups of people dressed as clowns in the news and social media recently, and a bit of chatter amongst our local community.

We wanted to reassure our students, parents and wider community. Our staff are out and around the school site throughout the day. There have been no sightings of clowns on or around the school site, no clowns peering through windows or on the school fields. Just about everyone knows someone who has seen one without seeing anything themselves and, in a school with a thousand children running around trying to photograph one, there isn't a shred of evidence. It is not impossible that some students are enjoying a bit of melodrama.
