Here are a few of the experiences of students at Yenworthy on Tuesday:
Zip Line
On the zip wire, I was very nervous. It was tall and fast and I didn't like the look of it. After watching many other people complete it, I gave it a go. It was a great experience and I'm glad I did it.
Kayaking
On Tuesday, 12 of us went kayaking on Lake Wimbleball. While we were there, lots of us capsized into the lake.
Midway through the session, we got the boats and made a slide which we slid down. We ran lots of races, and Freddy won all of them! After that, we put the kayaks away and jumped off the pontoon - we found this really fun.

Surfing
I went surfing on Putsborough Sands. It was a nerve-wracking experience, as I had never surfed before. After kind encouragement from our leader, Pete, I conquered my fears and successfully surfed the waves; I even managed to stand up on the surfboard! I would definitely relive this experience, if given the opportunity.

Coasteering
We went to Lynmouth Bay to experience the native wildlife. We found bucket-loads of crabs and Katie even found an infant spider crab, which was when Sean (our leader) informed us that he had never seen a live one before!
After we had discussed the creatures that we had collected, Sean took us all coasteering. We ventured down the beach, where we went to a cave where the tide reached up to ten metres. It was awe inspiring to see such beautiful places within our own country.
