Hearing Hidden Sounds - how they could help us to predict the weather

Imperceptible to humans without specialist recording equipment, low-frequency sound waves are observed throughout the atmosphere. Where do these waves come from? How are they linked to nuclear non-proliferation, and why in the future might we use them to improve our long-range weather forecasts? You might also get to hear some of these sounds, if you listen carefully!
