University of Oxford is running its annual competition for Year 12 students who are considering applying to study medicine.
Candidates are invited to submit an essay of between 750 and 1000 words on a given topic.
The competition carries a first prize of a 7 day work experience within the Major Trauma Centre, Oxford.
