It has been a shorter week with the two Inset Days before the half-term break but busy in school nonetheless. The House assemblies were excellent on Monday and Tuesday and the competitive spirit and desire to participate jointly shone through some very enthusiastic presentations from our House Leaders. It’s still early in the school year but the overall House point standings already make for interesting reading but all is to play for with a lot of events coming up in November and December.

As ever, there has been a lot going on in the extra-curricular life of the school even in a shorter week with fixtures, rehearsals and practices abounding, notably with the Christmas Concert on Tuesday 10th December and our whole school production at the end of January starting to come in to view. I would also like to say a big “well done” to everyone who has represented the school in a sports fixture this term – winning, losing or occasionally drawing, great memories are made and firm friendships cemented when we play for the school and we are always proud of the way our teams conduct themselves and the spirit in which they play.

After a very busy seven school weeks I would like to wish everyone a very well-deserved break over the next week.
