Snow in May? Well, snow is crucial as it is a useful source of water for more than a billion people. So, it is important to find out how much snow there is. The colour of snow helps forecasters use satellite technology to predict water supply. Come and find out how by crystallising your knowledge about this vital resource at our FREE Café Scientifique. Dr Sandells is a research fellow at the National Centre for Earth Observation at the University of Reading.

Join us at our new venue, Wallingford School Library, on Tuesday 20th May. Doors open from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. All meetings are FREE and very informal. They are aimed at non-specialists and there is always plenty of time for questions and refreshments.
