On Friday 27 February, the language stars swapped panini and pasta for salmon en croute and escargot. As soon we walked into Pierre Victoire Bistrot in Oxford the smell of the food was exciting and incredible. Our first course arrived in what seemed like only a few moments, I had salmon en croute, some of the other stars had canard (duck), but there was plenty of choice on offer; chicken, squid, haddock and of course snails although none of us chose escargot (snails!)

After our mouth wateringly delicious main course, we went on to some super puddings. chocolat et banane crêpes (banana and chocolate pancake), again the choice was plenty; with deserts including pineapple cake and crème brûlée.

We all agreed it was a truly amazing visit and we would definitely recommend it! Merci beaucoup Ms Wheeler & Ms McMahon for a lovely French lunch!
