Read Ellie's previous Swan Lake update

Rehearsal day arrived and I was super excited, I couldn't wait to start learning new dances. When I arrived I sat next to my friend Lucy from my dance school, Dance Connection. After the register had been taken we were all made welcome and went to our warm-up classes. After a short break, we then started rehearsals.

I had a Lady in Waiting rehearsal first, our teacher told us a bit about our roles, how we had to act and what our dance was about. In the 45 minute rehearsal we got the first minute completed. After that I went to my Hungarian role rehearsal. These rehearsals proved more challenging than I first expected, because I am not used to character dancing. After this we went straight into rehearsing for Act 1's opening.

The day was very full and busy but really good fun.
