As you will be aware Year 11 students have their Celebration Day on Friday 1st May 2015 and have their Celebration Ball in the evening. Staff and students are very much looking forward to both occasions.
Following this day, students are expected back in school for the three week period – Tuesday 5th May until Friday 22nd May.
During this time students will be taking exams, attending their usual timetabled lessons or attending additional revision sessions in place to prepare students before their exam. Details of these revision sessions are listed on the attached PDF. Attendance is compulsory for the three weeks and whatever your son/daughter tells you, they must be in school all day, every day! The school will be following up on attendance as we would normally do.
From Monday 1st June, students are only expected to come into school to sit exams or to attend appropriate revision sessions. We would really like you to encourage your son/daughter to attend the additional revision sessions during this time; they have been scheduled as close to the relevant exams as possible and are a perfect opportunity to go through the most important points with teachers.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me should you have any further questions.
Kind Regards
Ms Walker
