Yesterday, Year 9 enjoyed a visit from the Quantum Theatre Company. Their production of 'The Battle of the Somme' used primary sources to tell the story of WWI, focusing particularly on the road to war in 1914 and the fate of the Pals Battalions at the Battle of the Somme. The world of WWI was brought to life through contemporary songs, interviews and conversations. Feedback from Year 9 has been very positive with students recommending the company visits Wallingford again!
